Cross II, PhD 1986, Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Auburn University; La Tasha Gary, BS 1985, Senior Director of Global Channel Partner Information Technology at HP; and Robert E. Jordan, BS CPSC 1985 and MBA 1986, Executive Vice President of Strategy, Procurement, and Technology of Southwest Airlines Co. Dr. Cross, Ms. Gary, and Mr. Jordan will be presented with commemorative plaques and $1000 scholarships in their honor at the Tenth Annual Computer Science Awards Banquet to be held mid-spring, 2008. Texas A&M Engineering's Department of Computer Science held its fifth annual CS Former Student Picnic and Lab Tours on Friday, October 5, 2007. The picnic had a fiesta theme with fajitas, rice and beans served from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the lawn next to the Civil Engineering Building across Ross Street from the H.R. Bright Building on the Texas A&M University, College Station campus.
